AspirasiKeatchen Support Paralympic Athletes From Selangor Para Athletics Association With 100 Sets Of Food Provision
PETALING JAYA, August 15 – As part of AspirasikEATchen objective to build a better nation for everyone, the organisation collaborated with Selangor Para Athletics Association and Kiwanis Club of Klang to support our Paralympic athletes during these challenging times.
The event was conducted at Selangor Boccia Association premises in Petaling Jaya and attended by Ivan Chan, AspirasikEATchen Chief Operation Officer, Rodney LEO, President of Kiwang Club of Klang, G.Mohan from Selangor Para Athletics Association and guest of honor, YB Senator Ras Adiba Radzi, the president of OKU Sentral and also representing person with disabilities (OKU).
A total of 100 sets of food provision worth RM30 each and RM50 SPEEDMART99 cash voucher was distributed to our Malaysian athletes from Selangor Para Athletics Association. The provision offered to beneficiaries include essentials food items such as rice, flour, sugar, cooking oil and more.
“There are three categories that will always need our help even after the Movement Control Order (MCO) and pandemic pass, those categories consist of single parents, zero dependent elders and disabled individuals. Thus, AspirasikEATchen has come up with multiple strategies to continue supporting these groups in need” said Ivan Chan, Chief Operation Officer of AspirasikEATchen
The event was conducted while adhering to strict Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) with social distancing at all times. As the event was a huge success, AspirasikEATchen looks forward to continuing the organisation’s effort in supporting the community within its means.
